December 30, 2011 update
>PAKISTAN: Our dear Pakistani brothers, Naeem and Ameir have been greatly blessed in their labors for Springwood Chapel, Pkistan. A good number of house churches have been established and we have launched Springwood Bible Institute - Pakistan. I teach two classes a week via SKYPE, and we have about 30 students so far. The next semester officially begins in January, with the expectation of many more students. May God be glorified. Amazingly, with our support, they have already sent a missionary/evangelist ('Eric') to Nepal for a week. He openly shared Christ with hundreds of Muslims and Hindus in temples and mosques. The Lord protected him and his assistant as Muslims at one point chased him through the city threatening to kill them. There were a number of Hindus who professed Christ. May the fruit be genuine.
>AFRICA: I was blessed to spend 22 days with ZEMA Missionaries, Luaan & Susanne Goosen, and Jon and Lauren Emanuelson as co-laborers with them in the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. I was blessed to speak at the graduation of the ZEBS in Cape Town.
>MEXICO: TETM missionaries Chris and Michele Johnson had a great trip to the Oaxaca region of Mexico this autumn. In December a son, Malachi, arrived 71/2 weeks early! After much concern and prayer, Malachi was home for Christmas and both mom and baby are doing well.

June 5, 2011 update
>PAKISTAN: We rejoice in having independent confirmation regarding the two indigenous Pakistani ministries with which we have been in contact over the past year. We ask the Lord of the Harvest to direct our involvement. At their request, we are quickly moving ahead with our contacts in Pakistan to establish a working "umbrella" for mission outreach there utilizing existing faithful national pastors and missionaries. They are already working to establish a "Springwood Chapel" fellowship of New Covenant churches from existing Bible studies. Much prayer is needed as we seek to lay the logistical framework
>AFRICA: ZEMA Missionaries, Luaan & Susanne Goosen, South Africa, have been blessed to be joined by Jon and Lauren Emanuelson as co-laborers with them in the Eastern Cape region. Pray that they might grasp the Xhosa language quickly.
The pleading for more ZEBS classes keep pouring in from all over the southern continent of Africa. Please pray for and consider supporting (or going with) this amazing mission. See ZEMA links at right.
Pastor Ed will be making his fourth trip to work with this ministry in November (2011).
>MEXICO: TETM missionaries Chris and Michele Johnson are in Mexico this weekith their team heading for Oaxaca. Pray for safety, health, and fruitful contacts. Pray that a good foundation will be laid for their long-term ministry there.
>HUNGARY/ROMANIA: Jessica Ross is planning to move to Budapest the end of the summer to attend McDaniel's College there. She continues to seek Christian connections in both countries for fellowship and ministry.

MISSION PERSPECTIVES:
►The work of Evangelistic Missions is at the heart of God, as He unfurls each day of history to the gathering of His elect from every tribe, tongue, and nation.
►These elect are scattered throughout the world, and throughout time.
►At a place and time known only to the Father, that last lost sheep shall be raised to life eternal, turning in faith to Christ as Lord and Savior in response to the Holy Spirit's application of the Gospel Message. Then, and only then, will Christ return in glory to gather His elect together forever.
►God has chosen that the means of salvation shall be through the prayers and witness of His people yet on earth.
►The Lords motif for mission is the independent and cooperative work of local churches. Each true local church is the Lord's primary mission agency.
►The Supreme Missions Director of each church must be the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we believe in waiting upon the guidance and witness of Christ through the Holy Spirit and His Providencial working in selecting missionaries and mission projects.
►We seek missionaries and mission ministries with which we can closely partner, assisting as we are enabled, and participating in short-term trips and field projects.
►Those individuals and ministries with which we work must be in agreement with our Church Doctrinal Statement
